Five Star has 10 saddle gaited horses suitable for beginners or experienced riders. Trail rides through the beautiful, rolling countryside can be one-hour excursions or half-day events with picnic lunches provided. Horseback riding is supervised by Jerry Hatchett, who has 30 years' experience with horses. Jerry and friends placed seventh in the national team roping competition during 1992 and 1993.
